Every year, the Federation works to ensure that our community's teens and college students have the opportunity to visit Israel and participate in an amazing, life changing Israel Experience. An Israel Experience is a chance to explore Israel and connect to the Jewish people. It inspires, challenges and provides a bond between Jewish youth and their faith. A trip to Israel dramatically influences the nature of a participant's life-long connection to Judaism and Israel.

Promise Kept:

Every Jewish Teen and College Student in our central Ohio community is entitled to a grant from the Columbus Jewish Federation for an approved trip to Israel. Over the last two years the Federation has help to send nearly 200 young adults to Israel. The Federation's Israel Experience program, one of the most supportive in the country, offers grants to high school students and college students for short-term and long-term peer programs in Israel. Teen grants are available for up to $2,000, and young adults ages 19 - 27 are entitled to a grant, valued up to $2,500.
