Promise Made:

Every year, the Federation works to keep that most solemn of promises: that we never forget. Through the Holocaust Education Committee, our community ensures that the voices of survivors are heard and their lessons of tolerance are understood by a new generation.

Promise Kept:

The Federation provides funding for the Holocaust Education Committee, which delivers resources for educators who are teaching their students about the Holocaust. This includes Holocaust commemoration events, lesson plans, videos, web resources and – most importantly – our speakers: survivors and children of survivors willing to share their stories with a new generation. We have now launched a video database of more than 40 survivor testimonials that can be seen by anyone in any location, via the internet.
